MAZARINE

* We have received reports that Ro-Ro Cargo Ship, MAZARINE experienced an engine failure in a position off Lands End, United Kingdom on 10 July 2023.

* It is reported that the vessel later drifted aground off Wolff Rock lighthouse, UK. The vessel was subsequently refloated and was taken under tow by tug towards Penzance, UK for inspection and, possibly, repairs.

* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
