Atlantic Grace

* It is reported that chemical/products tanker, ATLANTIC GRACE, came into collision with bulk carrier, AVIATOR, in a position approximately 12 nautical miles off Okha, India on 26 November 2021.

* AVIATOR is reported to have been on passage inbound towards Deendayal at the time of the collision.

* A number of tugs were deployed to assist the vessels and both vessels are currently reported to be located near the location of the collision.

* It is possible that Salvage Security may be be required to be provided on behalf of cargo interests and W K Webster may be able to assist. Security provided by WKW is acceptable to the Council of Lloyd's and widely preferred by professional Salvors.

* General Average may also be declared by shipowners as a consequence of the collision. If so, General Average security may be required from Cargo Interests prior to the delivery of their cargo and we are also likely to be able to assist in that regard.

* We therefore suggest that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo stowed on board the vessels so that we can immediately take the appropriate steps to protect your interests.
